Rayner Glass Blocks have successfully fitted glass bricks on many major glass block install projects all around the UK including Jersey and Ireland. We provide the complete supply and install package for all construction and building companies.
The same service is extended to private customers with residential requirements and the size of the project is not an issue as we always apply the same efforts and attention to detail to all our glass block works.
Our glass block installers are trained and experienced and are familiar with all styles and technicalities of glass blocks construction. Health and safety are of high importance and our fixers are all CSCS Certified and as a company we work promptly and accurately on method statements and risk assessments and use this exercise to help our planning for all projects.
Large external glass block walls often require structural support for wind load etc we can provide structural calculations backed with insurance cover. We manufacture and fit frames, posts and intermediate steelwork. We provide all aspects of associated steelworks and can supply all finishes from galvanized powder coated to satin stainless steel.
We are very specialised in construction of fire rated glass block walling. When we build wall, certification can be achieved as fire rated glass bricks are far more complex to construct and great care must be taken to ensure correct glass block installation with quality of finish.
Our glass block walls will be constructed in colmef mortar, through experience, we have found this product to be the only reliable mortar to resistance to water penetration. Remember that glass blocks are only a single skin and you are relying on the small mortar joints to keep out driving rain, we are commited to using only the very best materials available for construction on our projects.
If you already have the glass bricks, we will provide quotes to fit them on a labour only basis, we will however insist that top products are used for the installation.
