Supply & Delivery
All our quotations are valid for two months from date of quotation .
All our quotations are to be read in conjunction with details on the email or fax sent together at time of enquiry.
Prices and Quantities are based upon information given by yourself at time of enquiry.
Carriage is based on 2-3 day service. For next day service, delivery charge will be £65.00 per pallet. Quote will be revised on request.
Payment can be made by debit or credit card (2% charge applies to all credit cards) over the phone. We have based our quantities on sizes you provided us and any extra over required after delivery will be supplied at extra cost.
From delivery, you are given 24 hours to check that all goods are in satisfactory conditions and Ian Rayner Ltd should be contacted within the 24 hours for replacement of any goods. Should we be contacted any later, we will not be able to provide any goods replacement and any goods required will be charged at normal price with delivery and vat.
You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 5 working days after you receive the goods.
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to Ian Rayner Ltd by hand, post, fax or email, giving details of the goods ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery. Notification by phone is not sufficient.
On cancellation, you must return the goods to us at your cost unless the goods are being returned because they are faulty, incorrect goods or because of unsuitable substitution by us, in which case we will meet the cost of return but we ask that you allow us to nominate the carrier.
Once you have notified Ian Rayner Ltd that you are cancelling the contract, Ian Rayner Ltd will refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.
Except in the case of faulty or misdescribed goods, if you do not return the goods as required, Ian Rayner Ltd may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods.
You do not have the right to cancel the contract if the order is for glass blocks and/or accessories which has been unsealed by you, or for consumable goods which, by their nature, cannot be returned, save where a fault is discovered which could not have been discovered otherwise than by unsealing the goods.
Supply & Installation

Steelwork/frames are not included within our glass block quotation. We do offer this service and a quotation can be provided on request. Design detail by others would be required to produce quotes.
Mastic for the perimeter joints will be supplied but not laid. Quotation available on request.
All our quotations are based on openings being formed by others to dimensions stated on Panel Sheet always to block and joint module.
We have allowed for works to be carried out in one visit unless stated otherwise.
Scaffolding required to both sides of working areas by others at 2 meter lift heights, prior to the start of our works, with fine mesh netting all around.
Safe access to both sides of openings is required.
Reinforcing is as per manufacturer’s standard detail Joint size is 10mm unless stated otherwise.
Calculations are not provided within the value of this quotation. Quotation can be provided on request.
Grout colour is white unless stated otherwise.
We would require roof to be on or adequate temporary cover prior to the start of our works.
We would require use of site forklift for distribution of our materials We require secure dry storage for our materials whilst on site.
We require working temperatures of 5 oC and rising. Ian Rayner Ltd cannot be held responsible for any delays arising from cold temperatures or wet weather.
Ian Rayner Ltd will not be held responsible for costs resulting from delays in steelwork manufacture Design warranties are not included in this quote, can be discussed if required, will incur additional cost.
Once ordered, glass blocks are non-returnable.
Ian Rayner Ltd will not be held responsible for costs resulting from delays in glass block delivery.
Payment terms are strictly 28 days from date of invoice, unless agreed otherwise.
